Love this, John. Nostalgic for me. I know that land well and love it. What's next?

Hi Tim. Glad to hear it. The final installment of this particular travelogue (in progress at the moment) brings us back to California by way of Las Cruces, the Gila National Forest, Silver City and the Salton Sea. So, plenty of interesting stuff. And we're just back from a two-week jaunt through Utah, Idaho and southeastern Oregon, including a 5-day rafting trip on the Owyhee River. Some good stories to report out of that trip as well. Can you tell I'm having fun?

Hi John, Once again I was transfixed with all your information about the places you and Leslie visited. Bravo. I even had to look up what a Javelinas was...never heard of them before and they are quite interesting for sure. Take care and keep sharing your stories and wealth of knowledge.

Glad you're enjoying them, Jill. There was a sign in our campsite warning tent campers to collapse their tents when they are away, because otherwise the javelinas will tear them apart trying to see what might be inside. Oh, and they have been known to attack dogs. I think I prefer bears.

Ahhh that’s so crazy! I’m with you John, bears aren’t so bad.
